To qualify for Medicare home health services a patient must:

• Be homebound and a doctor must certify that you are homebound.

• Be under the care of a physician who is a doctor of medicine, a doctor of osteopathy, or a doctor of podiatric medicine.

• A doctor must certify that you have a specific skilled need.
